EPDM Systems — White & Black
Architects and contractors alike have come to depend on ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) for their time-tested, low-maintenance and superior performance. A high-performance synthetic rubber compound provides outstanding weathering characteristics in climates worldwide, making EPDM the most popular material for both new and reroof low-slope roofing applications.
EPDM - This synthetic elastomeric membrane has been proving itself for over 40 years. Offered in both unreinforced and reinforced as a black membrane in traditional applications or unreinforced as a white membrane when a highly reflect surface is required, EPDM can be used in ballasted, fully adhered, mechanically attached, and protected membrane systems. Its weatherability and low temperature flexibility make it the ideal choice for the most extreme climates. Platinum EPDM Systems can be warranted up to 30 years.
Known as "cool roofs" for their ability to reflect the sun's heat without letting it penetrate the building, thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roofs are known for being energy efficient. TPO roofs have excellent resistance to ozone, are environmentally friendly and are easy to install, making them increasingly
popular in the industry.
TPO - Today's environmentally friendly choice when reflectivity is required for cooling savings as well as reducing the urban heat-island effect. Strong heat welded seams allow for quick installation in mechanically attached or full adhered systems. Platinum 30 year warranties are available.
Modified Bitumen Systems
Proven extended performance, Modified Bitumen Roofing Systems continue to improve as a valuable option in the industry. Firestone offers a number of Modified Bitumen systems including SBS, APP and BUR. Modified Bitumen roofs provide the benefits of a long life cycle, are easy to maintain and are dependable in severe weather conditions.
MODIFIED BITUMEN - An asphalt-based system that is produced in the factory using today's highly engineered polymer technology to enhance asphalt's natural waterproofing capability and either polyester or fiberglass reinforcement to improve its strength. Red Shield warranties are available for up to 25 years.

Firestone has partnered with the LiveRoof® the leading “prevegetated” tray system manufacture to provide a system that combines performance and simplicity. Our garden roofs are started and grown to a lush maturity locally by an expert grower’s network. This eliminates most of the costly time and labor associated with other roof top tray systems. Architectural Systems - UNA-CLAD architectural systems are designed to act as cladding systems and require a substrate. Firestone offers a wide selection of profiles, metal types, colors and on center distances to meet your design criteria. Some profiles may be radiused for jobs requiring that special look. Our UC-3, UC-4, UC-6 and UC-14 are eligible to receive the Firestone Red Shield total system warranty when installed in accordance to specifications and details.
Structural Systems - UNA-CLAD structural systems can be mounted directly on purlins. The UC-6 panel is eligible for the Red Shield warranty. Firestone Metal Products Company will provide engineering assistance to help determine structural loading.

Firestone Metal Products UNA-CLAD Wall Panel Systems are offered in both barrier and rainscreen profiles designed to keep the elements outside. Custom shapes, sizes, and radiuses are no problem with our state-of-the-art production facilities located nationwide. These panels may be used on the interior surfaces as well.
Barrier Systems: Offered in UNA-CORE honeycomb panels, UNA-FAB composite panels and UNA-FAB aluminum plate panels allow the designer to create a unique look for each project. Finishes include anodized, Kynar painted steel and aluminum, copper, stainless steel, and zinc.
